GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLEGE AURANGABAD

Government Engineering College, Aurangabad is a government engineering institution situated in Aurangabad, Bihar, India. It was established in 2019 under the Department of Science and Technology, Bihar, and is affiliated with Bihar Engineering University. The college is also approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Admission to the four-year Bachelor of Technology course is conducted through UGEAC, which is managed by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. To apply for UGEAC, candidates are required to appear in the JEE Main examination of the respective admission year, along with meeting other eligibility criteria. The college offers four branches of engineering, each with an annual intake of 60 students: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Electronics & Communication Engineering. Additionally, it offers specialized computer science programs, including CSE (Data Science) and CSE (AIML). The institution operates within the framework of Bihar's technical education system, aiming to provide quality engineering education to students in the region.
